With the reintroduction of bean bags onto the design market has come a lot of hype. Some are asking whether the updated models are all they have been cracked up to be, or if they are more or less the same thing in prettier packaging. This is a prudent question, and one that can be answered in a flash.

There have been so many instances where the labelling of an item as new and improved has not lived up to be anything noticeably different at all. When this happens, we understandably feel hoodwinked. Then there is the middle ground, where a marked change is made to a portion of merchandise, but not all that are being promoted as modern, contemporary, upgraded, or new.
