The Best Times of Yesterday and Today Involve Cartoons Cereal and Beanbags

Back in the day, I thoroughly enjoyed waking up before everyone else and plopping on to my bean chair. I would position myself directly in front of the television, with a box of sticky sweet cereal, and turn on the cartoons. Of course, I knew enough to keep the tv volume down, and carefully dig into the cereal box without making to much noise. I could make it through three whole shows sometimes before anybody else in the house woke up.
Now, I need an industrial sized alarm clock to get me out of bed each morning. My doctor has advised me to eat oatmeal for breakfast, with some fruit. So, inevitably things have changed for me. However, some habits are just to irresistible to break. Thus, I have contemporary beanbag furniture that I lounge in from the moment I arrive home until the wee hours of the morning watching the cartoon network channel.
So, it appears that I had to eliminate some things, and I switched from being a morning person to an evening one. But, on the other hand, beanbags and cartoons still prevail in my world. Even as a kid, I knew a good thing when I saw it.
