Pull your garden bean bags out of their cold winter storage spot and clear your calendar because the meteorologists have predicted some great weather ahead. Till now, we have been through some up and down weather, but declare it loud by setting things in place that there will be no more overcast, windy, damp dreary days in our foreseeable future.

Right now is a fabulous time to invite your friends over to watch the World Cup with you outside. Or, plan a picnic, cookout or drinks party and be certain that Mr. Sun gets his invite. Get the drinks chilled, the grill prepped, the music piped into the air and the decorations hung. Keep it casual and there will not be a need for traditional tables and chairs, as this is meant to be a time to lounge and linger. Once you have the bean furniture you will be able to throw together more of these soirees. As they say, believing is half the battle, and we simply refuse to endure another summer like last years. Plus, now that England is out of the game, we will probably remain seated for the rest of the games.
