Great World Cup Memories

It was one hell of a World Cup for my friends and I. To be blunt, we were basically obsessed. For all the games we could fit in we gathered at my pal Joels house. The bunch is a pretty eclectic crowd so there was always somebody to route for each team. In fact it is pretty funny how people decide which team their loyalties will lie with.

Anyway all of us had a blast, and hoped it was never going to end. Considering we all had cushy bean bag chairs to lounge on for the hours we sat in front of the television screen. There was enough food to feed an army, along with beverages of choice. It was a lot like going back in time to the university days.

I for one have missed those times on many an occasion so I jump at the opportunity to feel that camaraderie, gorge on junk food galore, and drink more than my fair share. In fact, just to try to keep that feeling alive longer I am in the process of ordering the exact bean bags Joel has from the Beans Beans website for my own house. And we have made a pact to meet up at least once a month at my place.
